Converting pixels into reciprocal spacings
When presenting X-ray reflection features, you may want to plot them in reciprocal space since the raw pixel numbers do not mean anything. See example below

Where:
Pixel size will be detector-dependent. (check the specs first)
X is raw spacing in pixel you want to convert
λ is the wavelength of the X-ray used. At 12 Kev, the wavelength is 0.1033nm
SD is the sample to detector distance.
It is important to have the parameters in the right units
